The Blue Bombers (-200) were 8-1 at home this season, and their only loss at IG Field was to BC on June 22. It’s unlikely that the Lions will win at Winnipeg for a 2nd time this season, and I don’t believe they will even keep it close.
At this price, I’ll PASS. Lay the points and/or bet the total instead.
Against the spread
Adams put on a show with 5 total TDs last time out in just his 2nd career start in the playoffs, but now he faces the No. 1 defense in the CFL. The Blue Bombers have won the last 2 meetings by 8 or more points, and while they will missing at least 1 of their top receivers, they still have this season’s rushing TDs leader in RB Brady Oliveira.
Adams was a great story in the West semifinal, but he won’t be able to repeat that type of performance against this Winnipeg defense. Give me the Blue Bombers to cover for a 5th straight game overall and make a 4th consecutive Grey Cup appearance.
