You might have missed it amid the multitude of municipal elections Tuesday, but there was also a contest involving the state Legislature — and in Central Mass., voters flipped the Worcester-Hampshire District seat from blue to red. Republican Peter Durant, who’s currently a state representative, won by five points after focusing on gun rights and Gov. Maura Healey’s response to the state’s migrant surge and shelter crisis.
